How far out do you deliver?

Our delivery area is set per store. Please feel free to give us a call for specific details on the area each store covers.

How long is the food good for?

Our food is made fresh without preservatives. We recommend eating food sooner rather than later. If you plan on eating it after four days, you should freeze it. Our containers are freezer safe.

Can containers be microwaved?

Yes! Our containers are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. They also stack very well and make excellent containers to keep around the house.

Is everything recyclable?

Yes. We encourage you to reuse them or recycle them.

Can I try before I buy?

Is the Pope Catholic? Of Course! Your first meal is on us, just come into a store and let the person helping you know that this is your first time and your first meal is on us.

Are meals and entrees the only thing you sell?

Oh geez, we have a host/flock/herd/lot of products. Check out our website to see everything. Our goal is to make your Paleo experience just a little easier.

How freshly are meals prepared?

Our meals are made weekly by our trained culinary staff. We use only the freshest ingredients. That being said, we use no preservatives, so if you are going to enjoy your food later in the week, we recommend you freezing.

When will you be coming to my city?

Probably not soon enough! We are growing at a very quick clip. Give us a call to see if we have plans in the works for your city. Interested in investing in Evolve in order to bring it to your city? Let us know that too.

Where can I find Evolve Paleo Chef products in supermarkets?

Evolve Paleo Pantry does have some supermarkets that have caught the Paleo wave. Please check out our pantry page to see if a supermarket near you carries our products. If they don’t, tell them to call us at (913) 747-5559 to make that happen. http://evolvepaleopantry.com

Can you freeze the meals?

Yes, we recommend that you wrap the entire container in plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn.

What are your thoughts on organic?

Evolve takes a very common sense and Paleo approach to organic. First, understand what organic is. Organic DOES NOT mean no pesticides or herbicides. It means no SYNTHETHIC pesticides and herbicides. That being said, if you can afford it, you should eat organic. The amount of pesticides on a conventional strawberry is 8,180 times less of the chemical per day than the EPA’s daily limit. So in saying all that, Evolve weighing the costs vs the benefits of organic has made the decision to only use organic produce when it can be reasonably priced and consistently sourced. If we used organic produce it would raise your cost by 40%, so a $10 entrée becomes $14. That is for produce, meat is a different story. Evolve does use all-natural, no hormone, no antibiotic chicken. We source all wild fish (other than crab and shrimp). What happens if I don't pick up my order?

If you do not pick up your order, we will be sad. But if you do not pick up on Sunday, we will call to remind you that your food is ready for pick up. If you do not answer, and we do not hear from you by Wednesday, we will assume you are MIA and will put your food out for sell.  If you have paid for it, we will still call you to remind you, but will not release it for sale. We will offer a  credit on the food if you notify us and allow us time to sell your food. If you do not notify us, credit may not be offered.

What are heating instructions for oven or toaster oven?

We include heating instructions with your order. Most of the time it is for the microwave. Sometimes we will recommend the oven for better results. If the “oven-ready” icon is present when you order, that means we are going to put the item in a metal pan and you will need to use the oven/toaster oven for heating that item (unless you replate it to a microwave safe dish.)

Can I lose weight?

Yes. Most people who go from an “American Diet” to a Paleo diet do lose weight just because they are going from processed to whole foods. Beyond that, I would not want to make a blanket statement. Do you have any discounts or swag for first time customers?

We rarely offer discounts. You can’t put a price on good health (blah, that sounds like a cop-out). The real story is… We do offer you a free meal to try us out, and sometimes we will have special promotions. Unlike a major retailer that raises the prices just to offer you a deal, our prices remain steady and reasonable. If we gave some a discount, we would have to make it up by overcharging somewhere, it is called reality. Sorry.

How much money do I really save on a one meal plan vs a la carte?

The one-person meal plan saves about $25 off the a la carte pricing.

Do you ship food out of state?

We do not ship our food. The freight is costly and we do not freeze or use preservatives, so you would have about a day to eat the food once you got it. We do however, ship our pantry products all over and would be happy to hook you up with Paleo Balls® or Trail Mix wherever you are. Just visit http://evolvepaleopantry.com

What if something doesn't taste right?

Let us know. We will credit you the item. If you walked into a restaurant and you did not like the food, they would (should) exchange it for you on the spot. Same goes for us, we will replace or credit an entrée if you do not like it. Just shoot us an email or call us and we will take care of it. Please do not write a bad review of us because you did not like an item, allow us to impress you with our quick resolution skills before you report us to the social masses. Thanks!

What do I do if I receive the incorrect order?

Again, let us know and watch how quickly we resolve the problem. Please call your local store and if you do not get satisfaction, call me (913) 747-5559 or my cell at (913) 940-7478. Everyone makes mistakes, including us (hard to imagine, I know), but we really do care about your experience and will resolve your problem ASAP.

What happens if I refer a friend or coworker?

You are a good friend. Make sure you let us know on the referral page so we get can give you credit. When your friend orders four times, we will give you in credit the average of their orders (up to $100). If we don’t know, we can’t give it to you, so make sure you let us know. Fill out the form online.

What if I don't own a microwave?

You would just heat up our meals in your oven or toaster oven or on the stove in a dish that is compatible.

Can someone else pick up my food?

Yes, they just need to have your name, address, credit card number, mother’s maiden name, first pet’s name and shoe size. Just kidding, Yes, they can pick it up, they just need to know your name. If the order needs to be paid for, they will need to do that as well.

I forgot to place my order, can I still get food for the week?

Yes, of course. Just come by your local store on Sunday and see what they have in their retail cooler. They are first-come, first-serve, so come early.

What different options/packages do you offer when ordering?

We offer a la carte, Weekly meal plans i. A La carte – Order what you want, when you want. No minimums, no contracts. ii. Weekly Meal Plan – You can get a half day or one person plans. These plans have set outlines, but you can choose the items. It’s a great way to save money if you are looking for three squares and some snacks.

Do you deliver?

Yes! We want all our deliveries to be fresh and timely, so each Evolve store has its own delivery radius. Contact the store nearest you to find out if delivery is available to your address.

There is a fee of $7.50. It does not matter how much you order, it is still $7.50. We deliver all homes on Sunday and all gyms on Monday (with few exceptions)

When can I order? Is there a deadline?

Yes, the deadline is 10am on Friday. Every week. This never changes. (unless Christmas is a Friday), and pickup is every Sunday (unless Christmas is a Sunday).

Do you offer nutritional information for your product?

Yes, we do. All nutritional data is listed on the item when you order and on the label. It also is available on myfitnesspal.com.

Would you accommodate if I have food allergies?  Likes/Dislikes?

Yes. Just write your request in each item under the “modify item” space within your Cart page. We will do our best to accommodate all the requests and if we cannot we will call you and let you know. Some items you cannot do special instructions due to the process in which we make it (soups, pantry items, sauces, etc...)

How does Evolve make so much food every week? (I seriously wondered this for years)

We have big hands. And work really fast. Seriously, we have a process that we follow that involves a lot of great vendors and a very dedicated staff.

I am trying to get healthier.  Being a company geared around healthier options, do you offer any programs that are a little more structured?

Yes, we offer Challenge. This really is challenging (it’s not just a catchy name), it involves our staff making food for you five meals a day, seven days a week, every week for 30 days. We do before and after assessments and offer structure all along the way. We advertise in advance which challenge we are doing, so just be on the look-out, but yes we do offer ways to kick start your healthiness.

I love your food! Do you cater?

We do cater. We have super talented people that listen to what you want.. And they do a really good job of making that idea become a reality. What is a juice cleanse, how does it work?

A juice cleanse is for crazy people…Crazy into health that is. We term a juice cleanse a three-day affair. A one-day juice cleanse is what we call a “juice reset”. This can be super beneficial to just reset your system. You should give this a shot for one day a week for 4 weeks and see how much better you feel. When doing a cleanse or a reset, you should drink a variety of colors of juice because every color is a new set of vitamins and minerals.
