Char Siu (Chinese BBQ Pork)

Is it Chinese food, or is it American? Either way, it is delicious. Char Sui means “fork roast” in Cantonese. Thick strips of pork are pierced and roasted until the outside is caramelized and the house made hoisin marinade turned sauce is just roasted and sticky. Keeping with the Chinese theme will be roasted bok choy.
