Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder
I have a great fondness in my heart for slow roasted dishes. All of that time gives the meat an opportunity to absorb such a marvelous depth of flavor that you just cannot replicate in any other way. We’ll be showing our pork shoulder some eight-hour-love by braising it all day and then using the resulting liquid to cook our carrots in. Then we’ll take that carrot-kissed liquid and blend it up with some more slow simmered veggies to bring you the world’s most delectable gravy. If that doesn’t have you drooling, I don’t know what will.
